SOLOMON POOLS CONVENTION CENTRE – BETHLEHEM, PALESTINE
The Solomon Pools Convention Center in Bethlehem is the first of its kind in Palestine. Its dimensions and installations of professional audio, video, simultaneous translation systems and lighting make it ideal for any kind of meeting or national and international convention.

The Convention Center is located next to the Solomon's Pools in Bethlehem (Palestine), which consist of three open cisterns, each pool with a 6 meter drop to the next, fed from an underground spring. With each pool being over 100 meters long, 65 meters wide and 10 meters deep, the total water capacity is approximately 200 million liters. Consequently the pools have played a significant role in the area's water supply for centuries. The pools provide water for an aqueduct system supplying Bethlehem and for the population of Jerusalem. The area around Solomon's Pools has provided a pleasant atmosphere for picnics and relaxation over the centuries.
The Solomon Pools Convention Center construction was financed by the Official Credit Institute of Spain with a FAD credit from the Development Aid Fund. With support and funds from the Spanish authorities, ECLER coordinated the project of audio, public address, stage, seats, acoustic material, video, lighting, translation systems, CCTV and MATV.
The ECLER material installed at the Solomon Pools Convention Center consists in the sound and public address systems, including mixing consoles, audio processors, amplifiers and speaker cabinets.
In the present political situation, it is extremely important for the Palestinian National Authority to have a center of these characteristics. The Solomon Pools Convention Center is crucial to enforce democracy and peace in the Middle East, favoring meetings and dialogue between all countries of the region. Political stability will have a positive impact on the economy and society of Palestine and on the rest of countries of the region.
