Cinecity is the only cinema venue of the city of Lignano Sabbiadoro, in the province of Udine (North Italy). The building is property of the City Hall since 1998. Besides its main application of film projection, it is also used for any event related to the public life of Lignano.

The volume of the venue of 5.300m3 represented a challenge to both acousticians and sound engineers. After several adjustments due to the initial unevenness of the acoustics, the results are satisfactory for multi-purpose applications.



Ecler Loudspeakers and power amplifiers
Ecler supplied through its distributor in Italy (EXHIBO Spa) the surround system (both reproduction and amplification).  22 AWAK108i speaker cabinets (8+8 for side channels and 3 + 3 for the back surround system as well as APA600 and APA1000 installation power amplifiers.

APA power amplifiers are fed with the audio signal straight from the DOLBY decoder.
